After launch smart phones based on Android Ice Cream Sandwich, there is a report stating the current smartphone HTC is preparing the world's first quad-core processor.
HTC is called HTC Edge is going to adopt Tegra processor 3 with four 'brains' berkekuataan 1.5 GHz. Another leak of HTC's Edge reports that the smartphone has a screen high definition (HD) 4.7-inch size, 1 GB of RAM and kamere 8 megapixel camera complete with flash-based LEDs. Thus was launched from Techradar, Tuesday (08/11/2011).
Until now the most powerful processor for Android-based smartphone processor is still held by the Tegra 2, made by NVIDIA that carries a powerful chip with dual core 1.5 GHz kitchen runway. NVIDIA Tegra processor 2 has made the Android-based smartphones more competitive in graphics and gaming capabilities.
The adoption of quad-core into the smartphone will certainly provide a significant difference. Smartphone-based quad-core processors will allow Android users to play games similar to the IOS that require more power.
It is likely the first smartphone based quad-core will be present at the upcoming 2012.
