Verizon to Unveil Samsung Continuum Android Smartphone

Samsung has just launced into the worldwide market its latest product, called the Samsung Continuum, a Galaxy S smartphone for Verizon Wireless. The Samsung Continuum is equipped with two screens, including a single 3.4-inch Super AMOLED display as well as its secondary 1.8-inch display, named “Ticker Display”. This secondary "Ticker Display" is also used to indicate details ranging from social network updates to news feeds along with notifications.

One more thing, the Samsung Continuum, the newest Galaxy S smartphone, also features 1 GHz Hummingbird processor, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, along with a 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD capabilities. In addition, this stylish model will go with Bing preloaded, DLNA support, together with an 8 GB microSD card. The device will be made available for preorder and will go on sale on November 18th. The Samsung Continuum will be purchased at the price of 9.99 with the two-year contract.
